The third and final Kalgaw (Ilocano summer) collection draws inspiration from the fiesta — celebrations like Guling-guling where clothing transcends adornment to become a language of aspiration, where wearing one's best is an aesthetic act of reverence.

The collection was created with support from DOST's Philippine Textile Research Institute and launched at the KatHABI Fashion Innovation Show in Laoag City, where the Institute's Philippine Tropical Fabric project was showcased alongside four other designers from across the country. MAKA featured poly-pineapple blends alongside traditional handwoven binakol, cotton, and silk.
